Water Crow™ combines wide-area motion detection with wireless sprinkler activation, allowing you to position the motion sensor where animals are most likely to approach while placing the sprinkler where it can provide the most effective coverage.
Wide 240° Motion Detection
The Water Crow™ motion sensor provides an exceptionally wide 240° sensing angle with motion detection up to 40 feet away. This wide field of detection helps monitor animals approaching from multiple directions and makes Water Crow™ ideal for gardens, fruit trees, landscaping, yards, and other vulnerable outdoor areas.
Wireless Sprinkler Activation
The motion sensor communicates wirelessly with the Water Crow™ control unit from up to 100 feet away with a clear line of sight. This gives you the flexibility to position the motion sensor separately from the sprinkler for better detection and sprinkler placement.
What You'll Need
Water Crow™ is designed to work with your existing outdoor water supply and sprinkler setup. For installation, you will need:
Garden hose / water supply line
Your choice of sprinkler
T-post – recommended for mounting (not included)
Simple Installation
Install a T-post near the area where you want to operate your sprinkler. A T-post is recommended but is not included.
Connect your water supply hose to one side of the Water Crow™ solenoid valve.
Connect your sprinkler to the other side of the solenoid valve.
Secure the solenoid coil/control assembly to the T-post using zip ties.
Keep the coil/control assembly off the ground. Mounting it to the T-post helps keep the unit elevated and properly positioned.
Position the wireless motion sensor so it monitors the area where animals are most likely to approach.
Turn on your water supply. When motion is detected, Water Crow™ wirelessly activates the water flow to your sprinkler.
Installation Tip: For best results, we recommend mounting the Water Crow™ solenoid coil/control assembly to a T-post with zip ties and keeping it off the ground. Position your sprinkler for the desired spray coverage and aim the motion sensor toward the animal's expected approach path.
